The Xala Foundation
Sustainable transformation begins when we walk side by side with the communities we serve
The Xala Foundation, a non-profit branch of Xala, embodies a deep commitment to growing alongside local communities, empowering women and the new generations, and giving back to the land and the people who enrich the region. Rooted in the landscapes of José María Morelos and Higuera Blanca communities in Costalegre, Jalisco, México — home to over 3,500 people —, Alejandra Gere is member of the foundation Board of Trustees, that envisions a future where nature, humanity, and Mexican culture seamlessly coexist.
What We Do

- Supporting personal development of teenagers and young adults through sports, education, and economic opportunities.
- Strengthening community well-being with projects aligned to local needs, with a particular focus in empowering women to become entrepreneurs as a changing force for good in their communities.
- Building sustainable, long-term partnerships that co-create solutions with local residents.
The foundation embraces a heart-centered, collaborative approach, working hand in hand with communities to guide them toward a prosperous future.
